Chicken Shack Classic Auto & ORV Show
The Chicken Shack Classic Auto & ORV Show is one of the festival’s biggest draws — a combination of great BBQ and impressive vehicles all in one place. Show off your classic car, truck, or off-road vehicle while enjoying some of the best grilled chicken in Silver Lake. Whether it’s a restored muscle car or a trail-ready ORV, all makes, models, and years are welcome. Space is limited, so get your application in early.
Apple Pie Contest
Do you bake the best apple pie in the county? Prove it. The Apple Pie Contest is a beloved festival tradition where home bakers go head-to-head for the title of Silver Lake’s finest. Bring your best homemade apple pie and let the judges decide. Open to bakers of all ages and skill levels.
Craft Show
The Apple BBQ Craft Show is the perfect opportunity to showcase and sell your handmade goods to thousands of festival visitors. From woodworking and pottery to jewelry and textiles — if you make it by hand, we want to see it. Booth space is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The craft show is full, but there are still spots for non-profit and corporate booths.
