The Apple A Day 5K takes place on Saturday, September 12, 2026, through the scenic town of Silver Lake, Michigan. This race follows a wooded seasonal road located just minutes from the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. It’s a great opportunity to enjoy a relaxed morning run or walk before diving into the full lineup of festivities at the Apple & BBQ Festival.
Race day registration will be available from 8:00 to 8:45 a.m. at Mac Wood’s Dune Rides, located at 629 N 18th Ave, Mears, MI 49436. The race will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m at Mac Wood’s. All participants who register by August 31 will be guaranteed an official race t-shirt.
As part of the Apple BBQ Festival, this event is perfect for families, walkers, and competitive runners. After the race, spend the rest of your day enjoying delicious food, live music, a classic car show, and a variety of local craft booths throughout the afternoon.
